LEC is a woman-owned business, established in 2006 by Ms. Deborah M. Heuckeroth, PE.
Ms. Heuckeroth is an independent consultant who provides services to Fortune 500
businesses, including leading chemical manufacturers. She is a licensed professional
engineer with over 15 years of experience in the Chemical Industry and Environmental
Consulting. Prior to founding LEC, Ms. Heuckeroth held progressively responsible positions at
ATOFINA Chemicals, Inc., Dames & Moore and Woodward-Clyde Consultants.
Ms. Heuckeroth has outstanding analytical abilities, sound judgment and excellent
communication skills. Her unique strengths include performing well in new areas and under
demanding conditions. She is known for being an effective negotiator, and a
highly-motivated, productive project manager or team member, resulting in cost-effective
environmental solutions and optimized compliance strategies.
Ms. Heuckeroth earned an MS in Civil Engineering (Environmental) from Carnegie-Mellon
University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland.
